A circular walk exploring the rolling countryside of rural East Hertfordshire, with wide views across gently undulating summer meadows and open wheat fields, passing through parts of the privately owned Woodhall Estate, a historic 7,000-acre “living estate” shaped by over two centuries of careful stewardship, balancing farming, conservation and community. The route also takes us through Bramfield Woods, part of the estate’s extensive woodland network, and follows alongside the rare chalk stream of the River Beane all contributing to its rich biodiversity.

Please bring a picnic lunch and a small mat to sit on.
