Ivinghoe Beacon Circular

Meet at Tring Railway Station - parking in nearby roads, for this beautiful, circular walk in the Chiltern Hills.  We start along the Grand Union Canal and soon cross over to Toms Hill and Aldbury Common towards Albury.   From here, we ascend to Bridgewater Monument (toilets) and into the beech woodland of the ridge.  This leads us out into the open downs along the Ridgeway towards Ivingoe Beacon, our furthest point before returning along a different route.   Please bring waterproofs if there is rain in the forecast and a picnic.
